Marfa is the maker behind ClaybyMO in Oregon. Her O1 Omni projects span animal studs printed on baked polymer clay, ceramic coasters printed 12 at a time, a DTF chicken tote, and pieces she made for her own shop: a branded tumbler with UV-printed polymer-clay butterflies, raised-texture QR magnets, a quick acrylic market sign, and a 50-layer unicorn canvas inspired by her daughter that took about one hour to print.

Marfa baked the clay first, then used xTool Studio's scan view to move and rotate the artwork into place. One layer gave her a clean, vibrant result; she also confirmed that additional layers can build texture.

About Marfa

ClaybyMO started with polymer clay. The O1 Omni gave Marfa another way to add the artwork.

ClaybyMO sells finished earrings and custom jewelry, along with cutters, transfer sheets, texture mats, color recipes, and silk screens for other clay artists.

For the animal studs, Marfa baked the clay first and used xTool Studio's scan view to move and rotate the artwork into place. She described the one-layer result as clean and vibrant.

Her newer projects bring the O1 Omni into the rest of the shop: ClaybyMO branding on a tumbler, raised polymer-clay QR magnets, a quick market sign on clear acrylic, and a 50-layer unicorn canvas she chose because her daughter loves unicorns. The canvas took about one hour to print.

Marfa's O1 Omni projects

Marfa printed tiny animal designs on baked polymer clay with the O1 Omni.

She aligned artwork over baked polymer clay, printed ceramic coasters 12 at a time, used a film, powder, bake, and heat-press workflow for a heavy canvas tote, and used the machine for raised QR magnets, a market sign, a branded tumbler, and a 50-layer unicorn canvas that took about one hour to print.

01

Baked polymer clay

Marfa already makes polymer-clay jewelry at ClaybyMO. She baked the clay first, then used xTool Studio's scan view to move and rotate the small animal designs into place.

02

Three different surfaces

The first set includes animal stud earrings, four ceramic coasters from a 12-piece batch, and a mauve heavy canvas tote finished with a DTF transfer.

03

How she made them

The earrings were UV printed after baking. The coasters used one white and two color layers. For the tote, Marfa printed to DTF film, added powder, baked it, pre-pressed the tote, and heat-pressed the transfer.

04

Projects for her shop and her daughter

Marfa used the O1 Omni to brand a ClaybyMO tumbler and print butterfly artwork on polymer clay. She also made raised-texture QR magnets on polymer clay, printed a clear acrylic Charm Bar sign when she needed something quickly for a market, and built a 50-layer unicorn canvas in about one hour because her daughter loves unicorns.
