See the relief up close

Patricia's photographs show the finished depth, shaded faces, fine knotwork, raised borders, and lettering across each piece.

Compare brass and slate

The Bible and cross design is engraved into a solid brass coin, while the portrait uses a dark slate coaster and 256 reported layers. The two materials give the relief very different contrast and texture.

03

One coin, two timed sides

For her newest two-sided coin, Patricia reported about 30 minutes for the Viking face and about 15 minutes for the longship.

About Patricia

Patricia uses the F2 Ultra for detailed relief work on brass and slate.

Patricia's first collection brings together four xTool F2 Ultra relief projects: a solid brass Bible and cross coin, a portrait engraved into slate, a Viking relief coin, and a two-sided Viking face and longship coin.

Her five close-up photographs keep the finished work at the center of the page. They show how relief, fine borders, lettering, and shaded details read differently across the brass and slate surfaces.

Patricia reported that the slate portrait used 256 layers. For the two-sided coin, the Viking face took about 30 minutes and the longship took about 15 minutes. These are creator-reported results for the pictured pieces, not universal presets.
