A rotary attachment spins a cylindrical object under a fixed beam, which works for cups and tumblers but not for irregular or sculpted shapes. The Pro Arc claim is broader: adapting to any uneven surface in real time. Whether it replaces or supplements a rotary workflow is one of the open questions OMTech has not answered.
