The useful split is custom cutting. StickerPix Print handles photos and pre-cut sticker shapes; Print + Cut adds a blade for outlines around your artwork. Both use dye-sublimation printing and apply a protective coating during the process. Cricut describes water, scratch, and fade resistance, but those are manufacturer claims rather than results from our workshop.
This is a dedicated sticker-and-photo workflow. It does not replace a Maker-class cutter for working across a wider range of materials. Cricut lists 4 × 6-inch photo paper for both models, 4 × 7-inch sticker sheets for Print + Cut, and 4 × 6-inch pre-cut sheets for Print. Check the exact machine name on replacement supplies: Cricut says the cartridges and materials are not cross-compatible.
The ongoing purchase is the supply system
A starting price is only the first line of the comparison. Before ordering, price a refill for the machine you intend to buy and check how many usable stickers your usual sheet layout produces.
