Four machines. One workshop decision.

Battle of the Enclosed Multicolor 3D Printers

You have four product pages open, and they all start to sound alike. I asked the same 22 shop questions of the Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro, ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 2, Creality K2 Plus, and Bambu P2S—without pretending manufacturer pages are bench tests.

The first cut

Start with the deal-breaker in your own shop.

All four are shown below. Add one or two machines to focus the table. Start with the condition that will shape real work in your shop.

Anycubic Kobra S1 with one ACE 2 Pro four-slot filament unit.

You want drying built into the multicolor setup

Look first at the Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro

Anycubic lists a 250 mm cube build area, four included color slots, 65 °C active drying, and print-while-drying. The pages I checked do not list active chamber heating.

ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 2 Combo with one CANVAS four-color system.

You want a 256 mm four-color setup

Look first at the ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 2

ELEGOO lists a 256 mm cube build area and four included color slots. I could not verify active drying or a recommended production speed on the global page, and the camera description changes between ELEGOO’s global and Australia pages.

Creality K2 Plus Combo with one CFS four-slot filament system.

Your parts need the biggest build area

Look first at the Creality K2 Plus

Creality lists a 350 mm cube build area, the largest in this group, and a controlled chamber temperature up to 60 °C for named materials. I could not verify active CFS drying in the pages checked.

Bambu Lab P2S Combo with one AMS 2 Pro filament system.

You want the machine I can discuss as an owner

Look first at the Bambu Lab P2S Combo

I own and use the P2S. Bambu added print-while-drying with firmware 01.02.00.00 under specific power and material limits, and the printer itself has no active chamber heater.

The whole bench is open

No machines selected; showing all four.

The comparison bench

Now make the machines answer the same questions.

All four machines are here in neutral order. Filter the questions, or add one or two above to narrow the columns.

On a small screen, scroll this table sideways. The fact name stays pinned on the left.

Reading the table

“Not listed” is not the same as “No.”

If the pages checked did not answer a question, the table says “Not listed.” A “No” appears only when the manufacturer explicitly says the feature is absent. Open “Details that matter” for market, firmware, bundle, and material conditions.

  • Confirmed

The linked page states the value shown.

  • Read the conditions

Firmware, setup, region, or material changes the answer.

  • Brand pages differ

Two official pages describe the feature differently, so I show both.

  • Not listed

The pages I checked leave this question unanswered.

  • Does not apply

The related feature is absent, so this row has nothing to measure.

  • Calculated

I calculated the result from the cited dimensions and show the formula.

  • Hands-on note

This shows which machine I own and which columns come from brand pages.

What the product pages leave unanswered

Print quality, reliability, and support still need real use.

Build volume and published temperatures fit neatly in a table. A fair answer on maintenance, software friction, noise, failed prints, and support takes comparable time with every machine. I only have that owner perspective on the P2S today.

  • Speed and acceleration numbers come from each manufacturer. They were not run with the same model, material, profile, or test method, so I would not use them to crown the fastest printer.
  • I own and use the P2S. The Anycubic, ELEGOO, and Creality columns come from the manufacturer pages and policies cited in the table.
  • Warranty language changes by region. Read the market note and the current policy for the place and seller you would use.
  • Prices and stock are outside this comparison because they change too quickly. This page narrows the machines by fit, not by a temporary deal.

Check the homework

Every numbered citation opens the page I used.

I checked these pages on 2026-07-22. Product pages change, and warranty language changes by market. When two regional pages describe a feature differently, the table keeps both versions visible.
