AEON’s MIRA X Kickstarter Closes October 29: RF CO₂ Pledges From $4,756, Shipping Billed After the Campaign
AEON’s MIRA X series Kickstarter closes October 29: public pledges run $4,756 to $9,998 plus $680 to $1,520 shipping billed after the campaign, with a December 2026 estimate.
AEON Laser’s Kickstarter for its MIRA X series of RF-tube CO₂ lasers, live since September 29, closes at 9:00 a.m. EDT on October 29. Public pledges run $4,756 to $4,998 for the 40W MIRA 6X, $6,986 to $7,485 for the 75W MIRA 9X and $9,848 to $9,998 for the 150W MIRA X. Shipping of $680, $980 or $1,520 is collected in a survey after the campaign, every reward carries a December 2026 delivery estimate, and Kickstarter lists shipping to only certain countries.
A pledge price now, shipping and add-ons later, delivery estimated for December
The campaign went live on September 29 and passed its $30,000 goal; Kickstarter showed 97 backers and $800,217 pledged on October 19.
AEON lists one shipping fee per model, $680, $980 or $1,520, collected with your address in a survey after the campaign.
Kickstarter lists shipping to only certain countries, and Kickstarter’s $10,000 pledge cap leaves MIRA X add-ons to AEON’s post-campaign plan.

The October 29 close fixes the pledge price; shipping, add-ons and delivery are settled later
AEON Laser, which lists Melbourne, Florida, on its Kickstarter page, is taking Kickstarter pledges for three RF-tube desktop CO₂ machines until 9:00 a.m. EDT on October 29. The public reward tiers run $4,756 to $4,998 for the 40W MIRA 6X, $6,986 to $7,485 for the 75W MIRA 9X and $9,848 to $9,998 for the 150W MIRA X, and every tier carries a December 2026 delivery estimate. AEON lists a shipping fee of $680, $980 or $1,520 by model and collects it, with your address, in a survey after the campaign. Kickstarter’s project data showed 97 backers and $800,217 pledged against a $30,000 goal when checked on October 19, with one MIRA X Super Early Bird slot left of 30.
A pledge is not a store order: Kickstarter charges backers when the campaign ends, and the machine follows on AEON’s schedule. Added to the listed shipping, the public tiers come to $5,436 to $5,678 for a 6X, $7,966 to $8,465 for a 9X and $11,368 to $11,518 for a MIRA X. Totals are site arithmetic before taxes, duties and add-ons. Kickstarter caps a single pledge to a US project at $10,000, which leaves no room to add a rotary, exchange table or fiber source to any MIRA X tier at checkout; a 9X backer who adds the $2,100 fiber source and the $1,197 QuadTurn rotary ($10,283 on the $6,986 tier) crosses the cap too. AEON says it is talking to Kickstarter Support and that if the issue cannot be resolved before the campaign ends, it will collect add-on fees, shipping address and shipping fees in the post-campaign survey about 14 days after the close, keeping its 40% add-on discount. Kickstarter lists every MIRA reward as shipping to only certain countries, and the country list did not appear in the campaign data we read, so confirm your country on the campaign before pledging.
Count the whole bill and the wait before the deadline
AEON lists the MIRA 6X with a 40W RF metal tube, a 600 × 300 mm bed, 110 mm of Z travel and air cooling; the MIRA 9X with a 75W RF tube, a 900 × 450 mm bed, 170 mm of Z travel and water and air cooling; and the MIRA X with a 150W RF tube (its specification table also lists 100W), a 1000 × 600 mm bed, 180 mm of Z travel, Y-axis dual ball screws and a compressor-type chiller. Speeds of 3,000 mm/s, 8G acceleration, ‘Class 1 fully enclosed system’ and ‘the most powerful desktop CO₂ laser currently available’ are AEON’s claims. AEON’s own sources disagree on rotaries: its MIRA X page FAQ names QuadTurn for the MIRA 6X and HexaTurn for the MIRA 9X and X, while the Kickstarter add-ons offer QuadTurn for the 6X and 9X at $1,197 and HexaTurn for the MIRA X only at $1,410.
What the campaign does not settle: AEON’s MIRA X page shows prices it labels MSRP (spelled ‘MRSP’ on the page): $6,995, $9,980 and $17,909 above the three Super Early Bird tiers. No store sells these machines at those prices, so they are AEON’s reference figures, not retail evidence. AEON’s page also promises a 2-year US-based warranty, without saying whether it covers Kickstarter units. The Crafty Catsman has not seen or tested a MIRA machine.

Check that your country is on AEON’s shipping list, add the listed shipping fee, and count any add-on that would be billed after the close.
